Good habits make the difference between a miserable existence where we don’t have any control and a life where we are in charge and steer it in the direction we want. I find it quite hard to stick to new habits, what I’ve found that works for me is that I try not to think of the habits as tasks or even habits for that matter. Thinking about what I want to achieve in my mental and physical health makes it much easier for me to stick to habits because I don’t think of them and they naturally become a part of my lifestyle eventually. Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll start implementing them right away 🙂

        Hey!

        I appreciate your input.

I truly believe that cultivating positive habits is the key to leading a contented and happy life.

It’s fantastic that you’ve discovered a method for maintaining new habits by re-framing them as an aspect of your mental and physical health objectives.

Sometimes it might be simple to feel overwhelmed or disinterested when we perceive habits as just another item on our to-do list. But, habits can feel more significant and energizing when we tie them to a bigger goal or objective.

I’m happy to hear that you found my suggestions helpful, and I hope you have the best of success implementing them into practice regularly.
Be patient and persistent since habits take time to develop; if you do, your lifestyle will eventually include them as a natural part of your daily routine.

      Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this list of habits to improve our life.

Every day I try to improve my life for the better, although sometimes it isn’t easy to do, especially when my mind tries to convince me that it’s not worth it:) Being consistent is critical, I think. However, I love reading and learning new things, but when I start reading, I fall asleep right away, which is very annoying. Anyway, I have a question, if you don’t mind. Can meditation help you discover your purpose in life? I always feel I am missing something in life.

      Thank you so much!

        Hello Daniella,

I’m glad you found the list of habits helpful!

Consistency is essential when it comes to improving our lives, and it’s understandable that our minds can sometimes resist change.

Regarding your meditation question, while it may not directly assist you in discovering your life’s purpose, it can be a useful tool for self-reflection and clarity on your goals and aspirations. Meditation can help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and desires by quieting your mind and focusing your attention, leading to greater insight into your true passions and values.

So, if you’re missing something in your life, I’d highly recommend giving meditation a try. You can try this meditation I mention in this article: https://improveyourselfeveryday.com/can-3-minute-meditations-daily-really-improve-your-life-for-good/

You might be surprised at how transformative it can be!

Best of luck on your journey to self-discovery.

        Miki
